SUN HUZAR 910 Specification

The SUN HUZAR 910 is designed and constructed in accordance with the European Recreational Craft Directive 94/25/EC and the amendment Directive 2003/44/EC. It meets the harmonized EN ISO standards related to the above Directive. In absence of the harmonised standard the scantlings are determined upon American Bureau of Shipping - Offshore Racing Yachts guide.


Hand laid laminate consisting of alternate plies of fiberglass mat and fiberglass woven roving. NPG gelcoat with three solid laminate barrier layers impregnated with isophtalic resin ensuring excellent osmosis resistance. Deck and topsides are sandwich construction with PVC core. Solid laminate below the waterline. Ashland® Aropol™ marine type gelcoats and resins are used.
Hull colour red wine with beige gelcoat stripes. Deck colour beige.


Marine plywood bulkheads bonded to hull and deck. A moulded hull liner / tray defines the interior layout and stiffens the hull. The overhead liner finishes the underside of the deck moulding. The liners are bonded to the hull and deck with the structural adhesive providing the exceptionally rigid structure. Deck and hull bolted through an in-turned hull flange, bonded with structural adhesive and laminated underneath. Teak toe rail.


Lead antimony deep fin with 316 SS „j” bolts cast in the keel.The keel is bolted and attached to the hull using generous layer of structural adhesive forming a watertight seal between the hull and the keel.


GRP enclosed foam filled rudder construction based on the Aluminum shaft with horizontal grid. Cranked mahogany tiller with extension.


Double spreader rig is allowing better sheeting angle, better sail tuning and trimming and less wind resistance of the smaller mast section. The arrangement of the chain plates towards the centre of the boat allows for easy passage around the coach roof. Anodized 7/8 deck stepped mast with VHF antenna. Tricolour light for energy saving while under sail. Anchor light, double deck light, cables etc.
Running rigging fully controlled from the cockpit. Anodized boom with 2 reef lines (single line reefing).
Stainless steel single strand standing rigging. Backstay adjuster. Stainless steel / Nitronic 50 chain plates
Running rigging internal halyards - 1 jib halyard, 1 main halyard, 1 topping lift. Deck organizers for halyards. Main and jib halyards made of Dyneema, other halyards Polyester.


Fully battened main with two reefs. Battens and headboard equipped with the cars. Roller furling genoa with UV strip. Lazy jacks. Standard sail cloth Polyant 340 TNF horizontal cut. Main cover and sail bags.

The interior is fitted in veneered marine plywood. All soles in laminated plywood, teak stripped.
