SUN HUZAR 910 Specification
CONSTRUCTION

The SUN HUZAR 910 is designed and constructed in accordance with the European Recreational Craft Directive 94/25/EC and the amendment Directive 2003/44/EC. It meets the harmonized EN ISO standards related to the above Directive. In absence of the harmonised standard the scantlings are determined upon American Bureau of Shipping - Offshore Racing Yachts guide.

HULL AND DECK

Hand laid laminate consisting of alternate plies of fiberglass mat and fiberglass woven roving. NPG gelcoat with three solid laminate barrier layers impregnated with isophtalic resin ensuring excellent osmosis resistance. Deck and topsides are sandwich construction with PVC core. Solid laminate below the waterline. Ashland® Aropol™ marine type gelcoats and resins are used.
Hull colour red wine with beige gelcoat stripes. Deck colour beige.

BULKHEADS AND STRUCTURAL FRAMES

Marine plywood bulkheads bonded to hull and deck. A moulded hull liner / tray defines the interior layout and stiffens the hull. The overhead liner finishes the underside of the deck moulding. The liners are bonded to the hull and deck with the structural adhesive providing the exceptionally rigid structure. Deck and hull bolted through an in-turned hull flange, bonded with structural adhesive and laminated underneath. Teak toe rail.

KEEL

Lead antimony deep fin with 316 SS „j” bolts cast in the keel.The keel is bolted and attached to the hull using generous layer of structural adhesive forming a watertight seal between the hull and the keel.

RUDDER AND STEERING

GRP enclosed foam filled rudder construction based on the Aluminum shaft with horizontal grid. Cranked mahogany tiller with extension.

MAST & RIGGING

Double spreader rig is allowing better sheeting angle, better sail tuning and trimming and less wind resistance of the smaller mast section. The arrangement of the chain plates towards the centre of the boat allows for easy passage around the coach roof. Anodized 7/8 deck stepped mast with VHF antenna. Tricolour light for energy saving while under sail. Anchor light, double deck light, cables etc.
Running rigging fully controlled from the cockpit. Anodized boom with 2 reef lines (single line reefing).
Stainless steel single strand standing rigging. Backstay adjuster. Stainless steel / Nitronic 50 chain plates
Running rigging internal halyards - 1 jib halyard, 1 main halyard, 1 topping lift. Deck organizers for halyards. Main and jib halyards made of Dyneema, other halyards Polyester.

SAILS

Fully battened main with two reefs. Battens and headboard equipped with the cars. Roller furling genoa with UV strip. Lazy jacks. Standard sail cloth Polyant 340 TNF horizontal cut. Main cover and sail bags.

DECK FITTINGS

Stainless steel pulpit and pushpits with navigation lights.
Stainless steel bow fitting with anchor roller.
Chain locker.
Teak toe rail, 6 stainless steel 600 mm stanchions with twin lines.
Teak handrails on the coach roof top.
Six stainless steel mooring cleats.
Two 16 self tailing halyard winches.
Two quadruple halyard stoppers.
Two 30 self tailing genoa winches.
Generous cockpit locker. Optional detachable transom boxes with opening lids and helmsman seat.
Cockpit seats and sole trimmed in solid teak.
Stainless steel folding swim ladder.

NAVIGATION INSTRUMENTS on cockpit bulkhead – speed, depth Raymarine ST40 Bidata and compass.

ENGINE

20 HP (14,9 kW) Beta Marine BD722 engine with sail drive (optional models available) and fresh water cooling. Two blade propeller. Optional folding propeller. Fuel filter with water separator. Sea water filter.
Access to engine front and sides. Engine indicator panel and controls on the side of a cockpit locker.

ACCOMODATION

The interior is fitted in veneered marine plywood. All soles in laminated plywood, teak stripped.

FORWARD CABIN

Double “V” berth 55 cm at each head (measured w/o triangular fill-in), 200 cm length.Standing height 170 cm. Foam mattresses. Stowage shelves.Two ceiling lights (spot). Lighting and ventilation through the deck hatch. Ample stowage locker under berths. The design limits the flooding of the boat in case the of the hull puncture below the water line in the bows area.

SALOON AND GALLEY

Two settees each 190 cm long. Standing height 190 cm at the galley and nav area and 180 cm at the mast compression post. Cushions and backrests.Three ceiling lights and two reading lights. Folding table with drawers and bottle compartment. Lockers and double shelves.Deck hatch. Navigation area with table, sized to accept half folded Admiralty chart, and drawer. Chart light.
Navigator’s seat with drawer, stowage locker.
Electrical panel with DC BEP-Marine electromagnetic circuit breakers. 12V plug.
Optionally DSC VHF and CD radio with saloon speakers.
Panel space for the extensions. Sink with pressurized water. Lockers and drawers.
Two burner LPG cooker. Neon light.

AFT CABIN

Double berth width at the heads 160 cm, at the feet 160 cm, length 190 cm. Standing height 187 cm.
Mattress. Two ceiling lights and 1 reading light. Shelf along hull side. Hanging locker.

HEAD

Standing height 195 cm. Manual marine toilet. Washbasin with locker. Shower tray.
Pressure water fitting. Wet partition for oilskins. Deck hatch. Ceiling light.

PLUMBING AND ELECTRICITY

Manual bilge pump. Electrical bilge pump combined with shower pump.
75 Ah cranking battery and 1x100 Ah domestic battery.
Battery voltage indicator with selector switch, fuel gauge and water gauge on electrical panel.
70L stainless steel diesel fuel tank. 110L stainless steel water tank.
Gas cylinder locker.
